My project asked whether different tau intron-retention events produce oligomers — a step toward characterizing abnormal tau behavior in Alzheimer's disease.

After learning the protocol for the first time, I independently ran repeated Western blots, analyzed each result, traced error sources in SDS-PAGE and electrotransfer, and adjusted later runs to improve separation and detection. Experiments with new intron-retention samples then surfaced problems within the samples themselves, which is now driving better preparation.

Reducing Access Barriers in Sports Performance

A Data-Driven Evaluation of AI-Powered Tennis Match Analytics
MatchGenie.ai · Presented at NHSSAA

Professional sports analytics take money, specialized equipment and coaching staff — resources mostly reserved for elite athletes. This study asks whether MatchGenie.ai can deliver AI-powered performance insights that meaningfully improve decision-making and match outcomes for competitive junior players, at a fraction of traditional coaching costs.

Players are tracked across 2–3 baseline matches without AI, then 3–5 matches using MatchGenie feedback, comparing shot selection, tactical adjustments, win rates and error reduction — with a cohort of underserved USTA juniors alongside competitive players.
